Accelerated Acquisition:
What Does This Flavor of Acquisition Reform Mean for Cost Analysts?

ICEAA is excited to announce a new and unique opportunity for members of the international cost community to collaborate on emerging challenges and advance the state of the art. All will be invited to an hour-long moderated webinar in which a panel of thought-provokers will present their perspectives on a given topic and hopefully inspire attendees to continue the exchange of ideas via MITRE Corporation’s Cost FACTS forum.

The first of these webinars addresses the challenge of understanding the cost implications of the Middle Tier Acquisition approach initially outlined in FY2016 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Section 804 and subsequently implemented by the Services. The panel for the web conference includes:

  • Fred Janicki, Director of the Advanced Systems Cost Analysis Division, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE)
  • Bill Seeman, Director of the Space Programs Division, Air Force Cost Analysis Agency (AFCAA)
  • Dave Holm, Director of the Cost and Systems Analysis Office, Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM)
  • CDR Todd Phillips, Financial Management Analyst, Investment and Development Division, Assistant Secretary of the Navy Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C)

The panel is moderated by Rick Collins, ICEAA Incoming President and Technical Director of Technomics, Inc.
