Through the lens of the MLB\, we’ll explore Power BI’s capabilities\, with player salaries\, contract durations\, team locations\, and conferences representing key elements of Defense Acquisition. This data will be transformed into dynamic dashboards\, providing valuable support for cost estimating and program management by visualizing labor rates\, contract costs\, and more. As cost analysts\, our role is to provide decision-makers with accurate\, actionable insights. Power BI’s capabilities offer a shift from traditional tools enhancing the effectiveness and adaptability of decision support and database management. Ultimately\, this presentation aims to inspire new and creative approaches to data visualization and analysis. \nSpeakers: \nSam Lepordo is a Cost Analyst at Quantech Services with over 3 years of dedicated experience in DoD cost estimating. He has supported multiple Ground Based Command and Control IT systems within the Air Force.
