SUMMARY:Industry 4.0: The Digital Transformation Revolution
DESCRIPTION:ICEAA South Central Region 6 All Hands Virtual Meeting:\nIndustry 4.0: The Digital Transformation Revolution\nDigital Engineering…the Digital Thread…Advanced Manufacturing…Industry 4.0. There is no shortage of buzzwords surrounding Digital Transformation\, which the U.S. Defense Department classifies as one of its highest priorities. But what exactly does “digital transformation” mean? And more importantly\, what does it mean to cost estimators and analysts? \nYou are invited to an interactive engagement on digital transformation and its impacts hosted by ICEAA Region 6. Our guest is Dr. Don Kinard\, Senior Fellow at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Dr. Kinard is one of the nation’s foremost experts on digital transformation and was named in 2018 as one of Smart Industry’s 50 leaders in digital transformation. He’ll explain why Industry 4.0\, is the next industrial revolution\, and what the revolution of data means to engineering and production. It will be your opportunity to ask questions about how these changes will impact how we build and design — and ultimately how we estimate the cost of these products. \nAttending this webinar counts as 1 hour of training or 0.1 points towards your ICEAA CCEA® recertification. \nDownload slides (PDF)
