DESCRIPTION:ICEAA is proud to announce the next installment of our new of Technology Showcase Webinar Series\, designed to bring the latest in cost estimating and cost analysis technology straight to your office. \nJoin us at noon eastern on Tuesday\, December 10 for a Data Analytics Tools Showcase presented by Herren Associates. \nHerren was founded 30 years ago on two core principles: (1) maximizing the value of every taxpayer dollar spent\, and (2) using data and analysis to create lasting outcomes for our clients. That mission still drives us today as we use the latest analytical tools and deploy experts in cost analysis\, performance management\, process improvement\, and cyber security to help our clients solve their biggest challenges. \nHerren Associates is excited to showcase three of these analytical tools currently deployed with our clients: \n\nShip Readiness Reporting Model and Simulator (VBA) – Simulation tool using VBA\, is being leveraged to improve ship readiness across the fleet\, allowing staff a consistent and repeatable method to provide critical information on a unit’s readiness to execute a mission. Presenter: Tyler Ellington\nRapid Turnaround Cost Model (VBA & Power BI) – Simulation tool developed using VBA and Microsoft PowerBI visualization software\, was deployed to support clients’ understanding of the dollar effects by appropriation when program procurement profiles are changed in naval and aviation plans. Presenters: Zach Donchez & Collin Donner\nMaterial Tracking Dashboard (Microsoft PowerBI) – Material Status Dashboard\, developed in Microsoft PowerBI visualization software\, is used to provide status updates to senior leadership to analyze current material status and make real-time decisions to address any material concern.
