WCAC ICEAA April Luncheon: Software Estimation Using Functional Size Derived from User Stories

April 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Summary:

Natural language processing and ISO standard functional size metrics offer an opportunity for an improved approach to sizing and estimation directly from user stories. This presentation will offer an overview of how functional size generated by ScopeMaster can be used for directly for estimation in SEER-SEM. This approach uses either Cosmic or Simple Function Points and considers the uncertainty around sized, ambiguous and potentially missing requirements.

This briefing was originally presented at the ICEAA Professional Development & Training Workshop.
